It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved Javier crossed the rainbow bridge today. He was cradled in our arms, surrounded by love until his very last breath. We did everything we could, but we could no longer bear to see him suffer.
This is the hardest part of rescue work. While we are deeply grateful for the many healthy and happy cats and kittens who have passed through our doors and found their forever homes, each and every one of them holds a special place in our hearts. Catpurrccinos is more than just a café; it is our passion and our purpose. Losing Javier has left us truly broken.
To all of you who generously donated towards Javier's care, we are profoundly grateful. Together, we raised over $700.00 towards his total bill of $2,882.00. Any assistance with the remaining balance would be greatly appreciated and will help us continue our mission to save more animals in need.
